£15,268.50 per annum plus Bonuses– Hours 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday between 9am and 8pm (some Saturdays 9am-12.30pm)

We require a trainee Caseworker to join our busy Civil Legal Advice team – advising members of the public on Housing and Debt issues. The ideal candidate will be organised, self motivated and an excellent communicator with a high standard of education. Training will be provided but a legal background would be an advantage as will experience in advising on areas of Social Welfare law. The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage. Must be flexible to work some evenings and the occasional weekend. Opportunities to earn more based on performance.

£22,000 per annum – Hours 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday between 9am and 5pm.

If you are well organised, self-motivated and experienced in housing or welfare rights, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team. We specialise in Welfare Rights, Debt and Housing Law and are now seeking an experienced Welfare Benefits and Housing Caseworker. Our casework includes welfare benefit claims, challenging decisions, representation at First Tier Tribunals, as well as possession claims and homelessness appeals. You will have exceptional communication skills, be confident and articulate and happy working to tight timescales. You will be a great team worker with a proactive attitude, who is also happy to manage your own caseload independently and with a minimum of supervision. The emphasis will be on the provision of a first class advice service.
