Personal Independence Payment
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is a welfare benefit which is available to help with additional costs caused by a health condition or disability. It is paid whether you are in work or not.
It is paid regardless of your income and/or savings.
If you’re aged 16 – 64 you can receive between £22.65 and £145.35 a week.
The amount you get depends on how your condition affects you, not the condition itself.
